Pilates is an excellent way to improve your surfing. Not only does it develop the core strength needed to surf with more power and precision, but it can also be used to improve your paddling, and make your surfing technique far more consistent with less risk of injury.
In short Pilates and core conditioning will help you to surf better for longer.
As an experienced surfer, a Pilates trainer and a fitness professional, I have had plenty of experience working with surfers and kitesurfers to power up their surfing or kite surfing.
